I don’t know what the fuss is about, food is good. They are fast, prices are reasonable given that it’s midtown. If you’re going broke just try and work harder, don’t take out your frustrations on a small restaurant. Lol, Best America Lunch we’ve ever had. Not just in Chicago. Anywhere!!! Hot, fast, delicious.
Excellent food! Very authentic and diverse. One big caveat though, some dishes are very very very salty - I would recommend to indicate this so that customers can decide upfront on whether to choose them (similar to spicy level). Another comment - if you are using MSG in the dishes it is the right thing to mention it, so that people can avoid if they don’t want to have MSG reaction. Based on my last order, I would have really liked to know these things in advance before ordering.
Surprisingly authentic America restaurant in midtown.I was surprised by authenticity of the food and majority of the visitors were America. We have had noodles and soup, both entries were large, filling and delish. We would be coming back next time we are near Port authority area craving authentic America.
